1. Data Controller#

Sudoa does not require an account. The core Sudoku game works offline; advertisements and external links use an internet connection.

2. Information We Collect#

Information stored on your device: Your saved puzzle and moves, notes, playing time, mistakes, hints, game statistics, daily puzzle records, language and appearance preferences, and hints and ad-free time earned through advertisements are kept in local device storage. Sudoa does not upload these game records to its own servers or offer account-based cloud synchronization. Operating system backups and device transfers may include this data depending on your settings.

Advertising data: The mobile versions use Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process your IP address and approximate location inferred from it, device/advertising identifiers, ad views and interactions, and diagnostic and performance information. The data involved depends on your platform, permissions and advertising choices. The app does not request access to precise GPS location, contacts, camera or microphone.

Contact information: If you email us, your email address and information included in your message are processed to respond to your request. You do not need to provide your name, email address or phone number to play. The app does not use a separate analytics or crash reporting service other than AdMob.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases#

Local records allow you to resume games, view statistics and retain your preferences. Advertising data is used to serve and measure ads, diagnose technical issues and prevent abuse. Contact information is used to respond to support and privacy requests.

Information is obtained automatically through the app and advertising SDK, or through messages you send us. Where applicable, processing necessary to provide the service you request is based on performance of a contract; support, security and abuse prevention rely on legitimate interests that do not override your rights and freedoms; handling legally required requests relies on legal obligations. Relevant consent mechanisms apply to ad personalization and the use of device identifiers where permission is required. Reading this policy does not itself constitute consent.

4. Sharing Information#

Google AdMob may receive data directly from your device to provide advertising. Google and relevant advertising technology providers may process data in connection with these services. Where an applicable consent screen is displayed, it identifies relevant providers and choices. Depending on Google's infrastructure, data may be processed outside Türkiye. Sudoa does not send your game records to the advertising provider. Messages you send us may be processed by the email services used to communicate with you. Information may be disclosed to competent authorities where required by applicable law. When you open external links, the relevant website's privacy practices apply.

5. Retention and Deletion#

Local records remain on your device until you clear or reset them, or the relevant records are replaced. Settings > Reset progress resets your saved game and statistics; it does not reset preferences such as language or appearance, ad-free time, or advertising consent. You can use your operating system's options to clear app data or delete the app together with its data. System backups are managed separately; uninstalling the app alone does not delete data in backups or held by third parties.

Support correspondence is retained for the time needed to resolve the request, handle related disputes and meet applicable legal retention obligations. Retention of data collected by Google is governed by Google's policies; resetting progress in the app does not delete Google's records.

6. Your Rights and Choices#

Under applicable provisions of Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and the GDPR, you may have rights to learn whether your data is processed, request information and access, request correction or deletion, learn who received your data and request relevant notifications to recipients. Where the conditions apply, you may object to processing, request restriction or portability, object to adverse outcomes of automated analysis and seek compensation for damage. You may complain to the competent data protection authority.

You can withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Where shown in the app, Settings > Ad preferences lets you manage your choices. You can also use your device's advertising and tracking settings. Declining personalization does not stop all advertising data processing: non-personalized or limited ads may still use certain technical information. Playing the core Sudoku game does not depend on allowing ad personalization; rewarded ads are optional.

Send requests to the contact addresses below. We cannot remotely access game records that remain on your device; you need to manage those records on your device.

7. Children's Privacy#

Sudoa is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from this age group. If you believe your child has sent us personal information, contact us so that we can review it and take appropriate deletion steps. Local rules apply where the law specifies a higher age for consent.

8. Changes to This Policy#

We update this policy and its last-updated date when the app or our data practices change. Additional notice or renewed consent will be provided where required.
