Tefeül Support

Times are calculated based on the city or location you select. Make sure the correct city is selected in Settings and that your calculation method (e.g. Diyanet, MWL, Umm al-Qura) matches your country. Times are recalculated when you change the method.

• Check that notifications are enabled in the app’s settings.
• Verify that notification permission is granted for Tefeül in your device settings.
• On iOS, make sure Focus / Do Not Disturb is not silencing notifications.
• Battery saver or low power mode may delay scheduled notifications.

The qibla compass uses your device’s magnetic sensor. Calibrate the compass by moving your device in a figure-eight motion, and keep away from metal objects and magnetic cases.

Yes. Location permission is entirely optional. If you don’t grant it, you can select your city manually from the list; all other features continue to work.

You can change language, theme (light/dark), and font size in Settings. These preferences are stored only on your device.

Tefeül may show ads so it can be offered free of charge. You can limit personalized ads from your device settings.

An internet connection is required for Quran verses, hadith content, audio recitation, and up-to-date prayer times.
