Ruyaland is a digital dream platform where users record their dreams, receive AI-powered analysis, interact with a community, and track their personal development journey.

The platform combines Freudian psychology, Jungian archetype analysis, and Islamic dream interpretation tradition. Privacy-first design is one of our core values.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data is collected when you use the platform and how it is processed.

The platform may collect the following personal and non-personal data:

• Account Information: Email address, username, and securely stored password (at registration or login)
• Dream Journal: Dream texts, titles, date/time, sleep quality rating, and mood information you record
• Multimedia Attachments: Voice recordings, photos, and drawings attached to dreams (optional)
• Tags and Preferences: Tags you add to dreams; interpretation perspective preference (Islamic, Freudian, Jungian, mixed)
• AI Analysis Results: AI interpretations and symbol analyses derived from your dreams
• Gamification Data: XP points, badges earned, streak information
• Subscription Status: Membership plan and subscription status (card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored on our servers)
• Notification Token: Device token used for push notifications (optional)
• Technical Data: App usage statistics and error reports

• Account creation, secure login, and authentication
• Saving and viewing your dream journal
• Providing AI-powered dream analysis
• Personal development tracking (XP, badges, streaks, weekly reports)
• Improving and enhancing platform and AI services
• Supporting subscription management and payment processing
• Sending push notifications (based on your preferences)
• Fulfilling legal obligations

When you request analysis, your dream text is processed through our AI service. The platform uses Groq, Google Gemini, or local Ollama models to generate analysis. Your dream text may be forwarded to these services; AI providers are subject to their own privacy policies.

Analysis results may be cached for 24 hours. Free users are granted 10 AI analyses per month.

Your personal data is not shared with third parties except in the following cases. Your data is never sold or rented.

• Stripe: For subscription payments. Your card details are processed only by Stripe in a PCI DSS-compliant environment.
• AI Providers (Groq, Google Gemini): For dream analysis. Only at the time of an analysis request and only covers the dream text.
• Legal requirement: In response to a court order or official legal request.

• All API communications are encrypted with HTTPS
• JWT access tokens are valid for 15 minutes; refresh tokens for 30 days
• Passwords are stored as hashes; never in plain text
• Payment information is not stored on our servers; Stripe uses PCI DSS-compliant infrastructure
• Sensitive dream notes can optionally be locked with device biometrics

Your dream journal and analysis results are retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be deleted in accordance with applicable law; minimum records required by legal obligation may be excluded.

Users have the right to export their data in a structured format (CSV).

The platform is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from this age group. If you believe data has been collected from a user under 13, please contact us; it will be deleted immediately.

You have the right to know whether your personal data is being processed, to request information about it, to request correction, deletion, or destruction of your data, and to object to processing.

This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be announced via in-app notification or email, and the last-updated date on this page will be revised.
